POSITION SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Technician is part of a team responsible for manufacturing Fujimi products. The Technician will work in a production area, and have responsibilities from production startup, to packaging of finished polishing slurries. Job functions may include staging and adding raw materials, following operating procedures to correctly operate mixers and other equipment. Will monitor, test, filter and prepare product and packing containers for final product delivery. Other job duties may include entering data, driving a forklift, climbing a ladder and using an overhead crane.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

Six months to one year related experience preferred.

Computer Skills

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other business management process systems to track, log and record information.

Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Dust Masks, Respirators.

Work Environment

Works primarily in a production environment including working with and around production equipment, chemicals, dust, forklift, and pallet jacks.
